About The Club
The origins of the Towers French Cricket Club are hazy, and little in the way of original documentation remains, however substantial records exist for the years following 2003 and this is when the club is acknowledged as first fully coming into existance. For more history, click here.
The club seeks to promote the following:
- Giving an excuse for the gents of the hall to get together and do fun stuff of a non romantic nature.
- A means of staying in contact with the hall once you have left the confines of its handsome grey walls.
- To preserve the qualities that make our halls the most special of the most special university of them all. That is special in the non-Olympic way.
- To give people a chance to be someone – be one of the guys, make it.
The club activity is organised and monitored by the Club Executive and Prefects, This activity comes in the form of sporting practises, matches (both domestic and international) and social gatherings.
